The Backyard

The Quest Backyard continues to focus on the journey and commitment of Indigenous Education, Equity and Dismantling Anti-Black Racism through Outdoor Learning and Environmental Justice. Attendees are invited to join a live Anishinaabemowin class, Green Ummah’s Environmental Justice Workshop, a virtual hike at one of our Outdoor Education Centres or to share your thoughts in a knowledge-building circle around Ethical Leadership. The Backyard Space, in partnership with the Playground and Studio spaces, invites attendees to explore, learn, and share examples of how student voices and experiences are critical in shaping ethical leadership in YRDSB.
